Welcome to the 2020-21 school year!  As the beginning of this year will be unlike any other, our online registration process will also be a little different.  Please continue reading as the process you may be used to has changed... or at least been put on pause.

First, thank you for either making or considering making a donation to the WCEF.  Whatever the contribution, your generosity is never taken for granted and every dollar is utilized to support the education of the students in this district!  We are all very lucky to be a part of this community.

At this point in the registration process, parents would usually be making donations directly to the school site and also be making purchases.  However, as this year unfolds, we will wait and handle those issues at an appropriate time in the near future. These items will include;

  • Yearbook
  • PE Clothes
  • Student ID Cards
  • Library Resources/Support
  • 8th Grade Panoramic Pictures
  • Spirit Wear

The final part of your registration process will be joining PTA.  Regardless of what school looks like this year, supporting this organization with your membership is paramount both locally and at the state level.  The support this organization gives us with resources and assistance creates a partnership that benefits OUR kids.  With the leadership of WCI President, Sherry Mohebati and her Board, I know our Squire community is in good hands.  Stay healthy everyone!

Thanks for your continued patience,

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year at WCI.

We are very fortunate to live in a community that values public schools. Since 1983, the
Walnut Creek Education Foundation (WCEF TK-12) has invested funds from parents and the community back into our schools to enhance education for all students.

Though we are starting school in a distance learning environment, our students still depend on donations to WCEF to provide district-wide programs and salaries at all WCSD schools and Las Lomas High School. Our schools are facing the worst budgets in decades.  WCEF is committed to remaining nimble as we continue to serve our students, staff and administrators this year and in years to come.

WCI relies on your donation to help WCEF raise $1.3 million this year to help offset the deficit, stabilize the district’s budget and preserve an enhanced education for your child, for this year and into the future.

WCEF Donations

Remember, it is never too late to contribute to the WCEF!

1.) ONLINE: Make a one-time or monthly gift at https://www.wcefk12.org/donate
2.) VENMO: @wcefk12
3.) CHECK: Payable to WCEF, mail to: P.O. BOX 186, WC, CA 94597

4.) STOCK: Make a gift of stock, or donate your car, by emailing contact@wcefk12.org

California’s shrinking education budget can affect your child through reduced access to the arts and science, fewer electives, reduced library hours, little to no additional math support, lack of counselors/support staff, and more. This doesn’t have to happen. Help deliver an enhanced education to our students. Donate to WCEF today!

Together, with the WCI PTA, we can offer students an enhanced education and families a
community that makes the education of your child, and every student, a priority.
